Master Data Project Approach

  1. Strategy – Anchoring of master data strategy into corporate strategy
  2. Data Model – Total list of data objects that are mandatory for reporting, assignment of data objects and business processes.
  3. Meta Data – Clear and consistent definitions of master data and its attributes from technical point of view, Building a business data dictionary.
  4. Life cycle management – Documentation of master data processes identified for the data objects over the entire life cycle
  5. Master Data Quality – Definition of qulaity indicators, that includes all the features for the preventive and reactive maintenance and improvement of the master data.
  6. Organization – transperancy about the resonsibilities of different divisions and the role of organization master data
  7. Systems – Transperancy regarding the use of master data. Application system to support the master data strategy.
