Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant to join our team. As an SAP MDG Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP MDG solutions to ensure the governance and quality of master data across our organization. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP MDG, data modeling, and technical expertise to develop and maintain data governance solutions.

Responsibilities

• 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand master data requirements and translate them into SAP MDG solutions.
• 2. Configure and customize SAP MDG to meet specific data governance needs, including data modeling, workflows, and data validation rules.
• 3. Develop and maintain data quality and data validation rules within SAP MDG.
• 4. Design and implement data governance processes to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• 5. Create data models and enhance existing data models to support master data entities and hierarchies.
• 6. Collaborate with SAP MDG functional consultants to understand business processes and data governance requirements.
• 7. Assist in data migration and data integration efforts to ensure data is synchronized across various systems.
• 8. Develop and maintain SAP MDG interfaces and integrations with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• 9. Provide technical expertise and support during SAP MDG implementations and system upgrades.
• 10. Assist in performance tuning and system optimization to enhance the efficiency of SAP MDG solutions.
• 11. Stay current with SAP MDG best practices, technologies, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• 2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MDG Technical Consultant.
• 3. Strong proficiency in SAP MDG configuration, data modeling, and data governance processes.
• 4. In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG modules, including data modeling, data replication, and workflow management.
• 5. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• 6. Strong ABAP programming skills and experience in enhancing and customizing SAP MDG applications.
• 7. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
• 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• 9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• 10. Experience with data migration, data quality, and data validation tools and processes.
• 11. SAP certification in MDG or related areas is advantageous.
