Role Duties and Skills

Must have skills: Manual Testing with web application , Functional Testing (6+ Yrs.), Mobile Testing (1+) ,API Testing (2+ Yrs.), Accessibility Testing (2+ Yrs.), Cross Browser Testing (2+ Yrs.), Different Test Reports (2+ Yrs.), SQL Testing (1+ Yrs.).

• 1. Review BRD and SRS to identify business scenarios to build detailed test cases
• 2. Conduct end to end & smoke testing to ensure product is up and ready for further testing
• 3. Identify defect and specify if it is technical or business and report it to the assigned person
• 4. Build detailed Bugs report and share it with developers
• 5. Ensure all bugs have been fixed closed
• 6. Help in formulating test plans and test strategy
• 7. Update testing status report
• 8. Ensure conducting cross-browsing testing to show that app support multiple browsers
• 9. Communicate directly with developers regards un-proven defects
• 10. Investigate the root causes of defects and suggest solutions to prevent future similar bugs
• 11. Provide a test time line to be added to all testing activities time-line
• 12. SQL (Database testing)
